2019 Wisconsin Day of Percussion Drumline Showdown Championship Banner | Champion will perform on the evening Showcase Concert with The Tundra Line

High School drumlines get the chance to go head-to-head with one another in a March Madness-style drumline tournament! In each showdown, two drumlines will face off with the judges choosing a winner based off of technique, music/visual execution, unique moves/stunts, one-upsmanship, showmanship, attitude, and audience reaction. The winner advances to the next round to face a new competitor. In the end, one ensemble will be crowned the 2019 WI Day of Percussion Drumline Showdown Champion, receiving a championship banner and getting to perform on the Day of Percussion afternoon showcase concert with The Tundra Line. | Rules & Registration

Open to all Wisconsin Middle School and High School percussion ensembles. Each participating ensemble will perform a single longer piece (or two short pieces) and receive a 20-30 minute clinic with the adjudicator. The winners of the competitions will get to perform on the Day of Percussion afternoon showcase concert. Additionally, they will receive WI DoP Percussion Ensemble Championship Banners and free entry into the PAS International Percussion Ensemble Competition. Due to the time needed for clinics, space is limited in these competitions, so please register ASAP. High School Marimba Competition

Compete for the title of Wisconsin PAS High School Marimba Champion! This competition seeks to help educate student musicians and to contribute to the quality and evolution of marimba performance. Open to all grade 9-12 students currently enrolled in a Wisconsin school, competitors will prepare solo marimba repertoire from the WSMA Class A list (or a piece of equivalent difficulty). The winner of the competition will get to perform on the Day of Percussion afternoon showcase concert. A 5-octave marimba will be provided. Calling all Wisconsin high school snare drummers! Come compete against the best drummers from all over the state to win the title of Wisconsin PAS High School Snare Drum Champion! Open to all grade 9-12 students currently enrolled in a Wisconsin school, competitors will prepare solo snare repertoire from the WSMA Class A list (or a piece of equivalent difficulty). The winner of the competition will receive a TAMA marching snare drum in addition to getting to perform on the Day of Percussion evening showcase concert . A high tension snare drum will be provided for the competition. The adjudicators & clinicians for this event will be members of The Tundra Line, the official drumline of the Green Bay Packers. | Rules & Registration

Open to all students currently enrolled at a Wisconsin college, competitors can upload a video of them performing a marimba solo of their choosing. Winners will be selected to perform on a featured concert at the 2019 WI Day of Percussion. This competition will be adjudicated by the WI PAS Executive Board. | Rules & Registration
