ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Jennifer Peterson has been the band director at Park View Middle School since August of 2014. Prior to her position at Park View, Mrs. Peterson taught band in Mukwonago at elementary level from 2009-2014.
The Park View Band Program sees outstanding retention and growth with grade level bands boasting nearly a hundred members.
Mrs. Peterson is the conductor of the Mukwonago Area School District 6th Grade Instrumental Fest. Prior to taking her position at Park View, she started the Jump Start Week Beginning Band Program and previously held the position of Elementary Music Department Chair.
Mrs. Peterson holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumental Music Education from the University of Wisconsin- Whitewater as well as a Masters in Music from the American Band College of Sam Houston State University. She is a member of Wisconsin School Music Association, the National Association for Music Education, and serves on multiple committees within her school and the district. In her free time, Mrs. Peterson spends time with her husband and their two young children.
