
Meet the Director
Emma Angoli is the director of the Mukwonago High School Band program, a position she has held since 2014. The program is comprised of a number of performing ensembles, including: Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Concert Winds & Percussion, Jazz Ensemble, the Mukwonago High School Marching Band, pep band, and Blue2 Indoor - a collection of extracurricular programs that focuses on small group performance through chamber ensembles.

Emma received her Master's in Music Education from Bowling Green State University in 2025, and her Bachelor's in Instrumental Music Education at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2012. There she studied with Dr. Tom Seddon and Mr. Tom Brown on trumpet. Emma was a two-time recipient of the Symphonic Brass Quintet scholarship and participated in Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble I & II, Symphonic Band, Orchestra, and the Screaming Eagles Marching Band, where she served as drum major and section leader.
Emma is a member of Phi Beta Mu, a music educator fraternity where she serves as Vice President. Additionally, she is an active member of the National Association for Music Education and was named the 2018 “Teacher of the Year” by the Civic Music Association of Milwaukee. She has been recognized three times as a "Vision Keeper" by the Mukwonago Area School District. In 2017, Emma spearheaded the commissioning of composer Nathan Daughtrey to write "Movers and Shakers", a work for the Mukwonago High School combined Band, Choir, and Orchestra. The world premiere, featuring over 250 musicians, coincided with the opening of the new Greenwald Performing Arts Center in Mukwonago.

Emma resides in Mukwonago with her husband, Rick, son, Archie, and cat, Grump. She enjoys trail racing, yoga, and reading in her spare time.
