Wesley Zepecki-Davison

Drumline & Drum Set Specialist

Wes Zepecki-Davison has extensive experience in the marching arts. He is an alumnus of the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps (2011), University of Wisconsin-Madison Marching Band (2008-2012), Sound of Sun Prairie High School Marching Band (2004-2008), and the Racine Kilties Drum and Bugle Corps (2010, 2012-2014). He has taught several successful marching ensembles including The Lighthouse Brigade of Racine, The Kilties Drum and Bugle Corps, Waukesha North High School, and Mukwonago High School. Under his instruction, ensembles have won a AAAA WSMA State Championship, AAA WSMA State Championship, three AAAA Percussion WSMA State Championships, and one AAA Percussion WSMA State Championship.

Wes attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for Elementary Education. In his free time, he performs in Bucks Beats (The Official Drumline of the Milwaukee Bucks), the Tundraline (The Official Drumline of the Green Bay Packers), and battles a crippling addiction to caffeine. Besides battery instruments, Wes also plays drumset and has performed in numerous Big Bands and Jazz Combos. In 2007 Wes performed at the Jazz Haus in Freiburg, Germany, which has played host to many high profile jazz artists including Miles Davis, Art Blakey, Pharaoh Sanders, and Maceo Parker. In 2008, Wes performed for a sold-out crowd at Avery-Fisher hall in New York City with nine time Grammy award-winning trumpeter Wynton Marsalis.
