Trevor Maliborski

Trevor Maliborski is a music educator and percussionist based in Madison, WI. He
received his Bachelor’s of Music Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he
also studied percussion with Anthony Di Sanza. Trevor enjoys having a varied musical life,
spending time teaching, conducting, and performing. He spends considerable time learning about
musical styles from around the world and about the place of drumming in those traditions. His
global percussion interests primarily center on drumming from the Middle East, samba
drumming from Brazil, and Afro-Cuban percussion. Trevor also has vested interests in
traditional drumming from the West, especially drumset playing, rudimental percussion, and
orchestral percussion. Some groups he has performed with are the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre,
Dubuque Symphony Orchestra, Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra, Milwaukee Festival Brass,
Waukesha Summer Theatre, and the UW Afro-Cuban Jazz Ensemble.
