


Jeremy Cotturone
Percussion Instructor
An alumnus of both Blue2 Percussion and Mukwonago High School, Jeremy Cotturone is a percussionist, pianist, and composer who is currently studying music composition and theory at UW-Whitewater. At UWW, Jeremy performs with the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, UW-Whitewater Percussion Ensemble, and the UW-Jazz II Ensemble. He has accompanied various ensembles on both piano and percussion, performed in a jazz combo, and has composed pieces for a variety of performers. In March of 2025, he had the honor to perform at Carnegie Hall in NYC with the UWW Symphonic Wind Ensemble.
An MHS alumni, Jeremy performed with Blue2 Percussion for seven years. In addition to performing, he composed an original percussion piece, mentored young percussionists, and received the Signature Award for his contributions to the program. A five-year member of the MHS Marching Band, Jeremy’s tenure saw the percussion section achieve record-breaking scores, including two consecutive WSMA State Marching Championship Best Percussion awards in 2022 and 2023. Jeremy performed with the MHS Wind Ensemble for four years. During that time, he and the other percussionists were featured on Nathan Daughtrey’s ”Black Rainbow” concerto for six percussionists and wind band. In 2023, the Wind Ensemble percussionists performed his award-winning composition, “Something’s Lurking” and In 2024, his original composition, “Conscious” was performed by the band.
Jeremy was also a member of the Musical Pit Orchestra for three major productions. Jeremy is passionate about music and thrilled to be a part of Blue2 Percussion.
