Jeremy Boutin

Percussion Specialist

An alumnus of both Blue2 Percussion and Mukwonago High School, Jeremy Boutin is currently studying music education at UW-Whitewater where he currently performs with numerous ensembles including the UW-Whitewater Percussion Ensemble and the Warhawk Marching Band.

During his time at Mukwonago high school, he was a 7-year member of Blue2 Percussion, was the featured drum set soloist for Christopher Rouse’s “Bonham”, and received the prestigious Signature Award for his contributions to the program. As a member of the MHS Marching Band, Jeremy’s time in the ensemble saw the percussion section achieve record-breaking scores, including a WSMA State Marching Championships Best Percussion award in 2022.

Jeremy was also an active member of the Jazz Band, Musical Pit Orchestra, and the Wind Ensemble, where he and the rest of the percussion section was featured on Nathan Daughtrey’s ”Black Rainbow” concerto for six percussionists and wind band. Jeremy is very much looking forward to working with the current members of Blue2 Percussion and hopes to help the program continue its legacy of success.
