Adam Brostowitz

Adam Brostowitz is an alum of Western Illinois University (WIU), graduating with a degree in Music Education. Growing up in Central Illinois (don't worry, he was raised right... Go Pack Go!), he has been involved in many music ensembles, including Marching Band (Drumline Captain for two seasons at WIU), Steel Band (Student Leader), various Concert Band ensembles (Section Leader), Percussion Ensemble, Jazz Combo, and more. He has taught as a K-8 music educator teaching Band, Choir, and General Music, as well as having worked with various high school Drumlines, Steel Bands, Percussion Ensembles, and has taught private percussion and piano lessons. Adam has composed and arranged music for Steel Pan through MauMau Music, and has arranged other musical works for Drumline, Pep Band, Marching Band, and other ensembles. Adam has participated as a Junior High Solo & Ensemble Contest Judge, and is a member of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) and the Percussive Arts Society.
